10/30/2012The only issue was the hot tub which i bubbling and the outside air temp was cool, steam was rising and i jumped in. the water was maybe 80 degrees ...
The only issue was the hot tub which I bubbling and the outside air temp was cool, steam was rising and I jumped in. The water was maybe 80 degrees much warmer than the 50 degree day with wind gust of 30. I had to be rescued with a towel who was near by. Other than a cool dip it was a great value and very friendly staff.

We had a wonderful week in Myrtle Beach. The hotel was quite nice. We had a beach front room and the view was wonderful. Balcony was a bit small but it was private and had 2 chairs and a small table on it. I did end up washing the coffee pot every single day. It wasn't a big deal so I never said anything to the maid or the front desk about it.

We had a great week at The Best Western Plus Carolinian!! The maid service left a little to be desired as I had to wash our coffee pot everyday. But the room was clean, we had plenty of fresh towels, the beds were very comfortable, the view was great ( I asked for a room on one of the higher floors) and the beach was awesome!! Lots of places to eat within easy walking distance. Nearby activities were very family oriented. We aren't golfers but we saw a lot of them and they looked very happy.

We had a blast and the people of South Carolina are by far the most polite people in America!! Being from Texas and thinking that most of the people here are very friendly but after visiting Myrtle Beach, I have to rethink that!! We loved our time there and cannot wait to go back.
